The new Zoli Taiga® has many outstanding features that distinguishes it from other products in its class. It meets the requirements of both the traditional and modern hunter and users will be left in no doubt, that Zoli has created a stunning rifle, with stunning accuracy, at a stunning price.
The Zoli Taiga is hand finished at every stage of the manufacturing process, giving the appearance and quality of a custom built rifle, but not at custom-built prices. Every part of the Taiga has been designed to bring the shooter the best possible engineering excellence. The trigger mechanism has been redesigned by Zoli and uses a clever ball bearing system resulting in an amazing and consistent trigger pull of 800, 1,100 or 1,300 grams (1.8 lbs, 2.4 lbs or 2.9 lbs) (stipulated at time of order).
The Receiver and Bolt are CNC machined from the highest quality steel bar stock with the Locking Lugs & Bolt Body machined in one solid piece for added strength, improved accuracy and long-life. Both the Receiver and Bolt are subjected to intensive heat treatment for added strength. The hand cocking/de-cocking Bolt has been ergonomically designed for easy use, ultimate safety, even if dropped, and is ultra quiet when cocking or de-cocking. The Receiver is drilled and tapped for Weaver Grand Slam Steel bases and Grand Slam Rings, which will compliment the rifle. A 1-piece Weaver base or Swing-Off systems are also available.
The Taiga is available with the traditional Monte-Carlo Turkish Walnut stock or the modern soft touch over molded carbon-fibre appearance finish. Taiga is available in a wide choice of calibers consisting of .243 Win, .270 Win, .308 Win, .30-06 Sprg, 6.5X55 Mauser, all with detachable magazine except .243 Win and .308 Win. Left hand rifles will be available in 2015 as will detachable magazines for .243 Win and .308 Win along with upgrade kits for rifles already purchased in these two calibers. Barrel length is 23-5/8” for all calibers except .270 Wby Mag and 7mm Rem Mag at 25-1/2”. UK rifles will have no sights but can be ordered if desired, custom options also available. Zoli Taiga rifles carry a 5-year Edgar Brothers warranty.
