The Horizon bolt action rifle, together with the hunter, is the star of the perfect day, in any place and in any condition.
The new Franchi Horizon bolt-action rifle is designed to be an extension of the body, regardless of shooting position. The feature-rich Horizon is available in 6 popular hunting calibers: .243 WIN, .270 WIN, .30-06 SPFD, .308 WIN, 6,5 Creedmoor, .300 WIN MAG . The Horizon is a rifle that looks as right as it feels. Barrel, action and the three front locking lug bolt are deigned according to the most modern technologies and machined by numerical control from one solid block. The oversized breech plug is screwed to the bolt. The lightened conical bolt handle, detachable if needed and changeable without special tools, together with the 60 degree bolt rotation grant an easy and fast shooting. The stock of the Horizon is fastened by two screws with bushings, an effective recoil lug interacts with a double seat integrated into the action. The mounts for the scope are compatible with the 700 Remington pattern. The cold hammer forged Chrome and Molybdenum steel barrel is free floating and 560mm long for all calibers but .300, which is 610mm. It is available with or without metallic sight, M14x1 thread pitch and thread cover. Two position safety to let the bolt free. The trigger is adjustable by a screw from 900 up to 1.800 grams, it is easy to reach also with gloves. Optional set trigger (Stecher). 7 year warranty on the mechanical parts.
